This exciting opportunity will involve working with a friendly Team of specialist Design Engineers to complete varied scale geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations, and geotechnical design for projects for Private Sector Clients including land developers, housing builders and local authorities. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to help develop a strategically important area and the successful person will be key in building the business.

We typically deliver a wide range of project-types throughout the UK and for a wide range of development types including highway, power and buildings projects. Currently we are delivering a large number of desk studies, ground investigations, technical reports and geotechnical analysis and design.

Ideally applicants should have a suitable geotechnical or engineering geology degree which is accredited by the ICE or The Geological Society, and a related masters degree or be working towards such a qualification. However, consideration would also be given to suitable candidates with relevant experience.  We prefer candidates with strong background in geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering, with an understanding of the technical aspects of the industry and proficient report writing skills. The candidate should have strong organisational and communication skills, be numerate, and take a practical approach to problem solving. They should have at least two years’ post-graduate experience in a relevant position.  Chartered status or working towards Chartered status would be an advantage.  A driving licence will be required as occasional site visits will be necessary to monitor ground investigations, earthworks and to validate foundation construction.
