Due to expanding workload, our client are seeking a geo-environmental engineer to join them in a permanent role.  As part of a small but dynamic geo-environmental consultancy based in Fife and East Lothian, you will be working with and supported by an integrated team of consultants.

Projects are both varied and wide ranging and cover a variety of clients in the private and public sector. The work includes ground condition assessments, geotechnical engineering, environmental assessment, remedial design and ground stability assessments relating to past/ present mining legacy.

Candidates must be degree qualified in the disciplines of either geology, geo-environmental engineering or civil engineering.  A degree to MSc would also be preferable, but not essential.

Ideally we are seeking someone with 1-2 years related experience, but will also consider the right graduate who will be given on the job training.

Initially the role will include carrying out desk studies, supporting our phase II ground investigations, carrying out fieldworks/ post siteworks monitoring and writing technical reports.  However, for the right person, there will be the opportunity to progress and have increased responsibility within the business.

• Hold a full UK driving licence
