Senior Environmental Scientist

Our client have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Environmental Scientist to be based from their office in Bridgend

Responsibilities:

This role will involve working on oil pollution and contaminated land investigations and delivery of innovative remedial solutions to their clients.  This is a unique opportunity to manage a number of projects through from inception to completion and the role will involve both office and site based work.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate should have;

• Science based degree
• At least 5 years relevant industry experience – (desirable)
• Knowledge of Phase I and II site investigations
• Sound knowledge of remediation techniques and their application.
• You will need to be motivated, have good organisational and problem solving skills
• Sound commercial awareness with an understanding of project budgets and timelines.
• A full UK/EU driving licence is essential for this role.
• The position also requires the ability to interact with other members of a multi-disciplinary team as well as professional clients, sub-contractors and members of the public.

Salary and Benefits:
