We are looking for someone with preferably 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role with strong project management skills and demonstrable experience of managing ground investigation fieldworks on site, and GeoEnvironmental consultancy projects. You should have a sound understanding of site investigation techniques, contaminated land assessment and/or foundation/geotechnical design for the preparation of interpretative reports. Projects typically include residential or commercial developments, infrastructure works, rail projects and remediation schemes. Additionally, you should be highly motivated, able to work under your own initiative, with drive and ambition to further your career and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
Along with typical site and office project work, the role will also encompass an element of business development, liaising with clients and some input in to proposals, bids and tenders. As such you will need to have an element of commercial awareness and strong communication skills; able to deal with suppliers, clients and peers effectively at all levels.
