In this position you will report to the Project Engineer overseeing the planning and management of the geotechnical aspects of offshore wind farm site investigations. The role will be split between offshore site supervision work on one of our many vessels spread across the globe, and desk-based reporting work in our fantastic office situated in the heart of Central Bristol, UK. Offshore you will be responsible for the collection, interrogation and quality assurance of the soils data and testing results collected at the locations explored by our drilling and seabed rigs. Onshore you will form part of a team specifying, scheduling, procuring, monitoring and interpreting complex laboratory testing campaigns combined with detailed interpretation and resulting parameterisation of in-situ testing data, ultimately leading to the delivery of final reporting to satisfy our many offshore renewables clients.
Progression within our clients Geotechnical Engineering Department is available for the right candidates either within a technical role or developing into more Project Management role when sufficient experience is gained. The choice is yours and we will support you in every way possible.
